Need SBR Engraving, any Enid/OKC area recommendations?

Hi guys, just joined today, lurked here a little bit though! I recently got my stamps back for an AR lower and CZ Scorpion Evo. I'm wanting to get them engraved locally to avoid the risks of shipping elsewhere.

Any good places in north/central OK, Enid, Stillwater, OKC, Etc?

I'll be in OKC this coming week, so I'm trying to get a plan before then. I've seen SW Engravers and Cold Hand Arms in OKC mentioned, but seemed to be mixed reviews on those.

Exactly what kind of engraving do you have to have done on things of this nature? I assume we're talking about things like 80% lowers that a guy has finished himself, SBR's and such? Just serial numbers, or what? I really don't know.

According to the NFA, you make an SBR by putting a shorter barrel on a rifle or a stock on a pistol (as is the case in his evo). By making and SBR in eyes of the atf you are considered the manufacturer and you must engrave the registered part with you're name/trust/LLC city and state. If you purchase an SBR direct from the manufacturer you would not need to engrave it as it is already a manufactured SBR.

When you file a Form 1 to make and register a SBR from an existing gun you need to have your name or trust name and city put on it, you are the "manufacturer" of the SBR, and have to mark it with your info.

You use the serial number from the base weapon you are building it from. So if you are making a SBS from a Remington 870, you will use that serial number.

If you are building it from raw materials, such as a suppressor or 80% lower, then you will have to create a serial number and have it engraved on it also.

Unless it was an 80% lower or something to begin with, it should already have the serial on the receiver. If you're manufacturing a suppressor or something else from the ground up as a Form 1, you have to put a serial # on it along with your name or trust's name and the city & state.
