With Trump headed to the White House and both House and Senate in Republican majorities, is now the time to start pushing to see if the $200 tax stamp on suppressors can be dropped or at least to a one time buy?

Although I agree with the need to change the rule (tax) Our country has sooooo much more important things to fix. I think a tax on suppressors should be pretty far down the list

#1. Repeal Obamacare

The next session is the time for the suppressor bill for hearing protection stuff they were trying to pass last time. It's archaic, it needs to be repealed. So does the SBR thing. I mean, really? How big of a deal is it to have a "rifle" with a barrel less than 16"? Honestly? Is this a major concern for law enforcement in the execution of their duties? A gun is a gun. I could be wrong, but I personally don't see a huge issue.

Now is the time for:

- Nominate conservative Supreme Court candidate to replace Justice Scalia
- Recapitalize/reinvigorate US military
- Enact policies designed to allow business both large and small to thrive or at least don't make the reason for failure administrative bulls**t/onerous taxes
- Consolidate/eliminate several Federal Departments and greatly reduce their scope of authority
- Work with Rep. Ryan to get a comprehensive budget agreement in place
- Then maybe some gun issues (though the Supreme Court nominee may cover that to some extent)
