Best place to mount a WML?

I have a midlength AR I built with an MOE M-Lok handguard, and an A2 FSB. I also had a Surefire M951 that was laying around that a stuck a Malkoff pill in. I now need to mount it, and am trying to decide between a scout mount, which means I need to decide which side to mount it on, or a cantilever mount that would move it closer to the rear of the rifle, but allow me to switch sides, but am afraid it will mess with my grip. I also plan on running a tape switch as well. So where would you mount it and why? I am leaning towards right side scout, shooting off barricades, etc, but at the same time, I cant use the tail switch if I so chose, or switch went bad. So my OCD is over analyzing and needs opinions.

I want to do a set up like that, and plan on something like this:

You can mount it to either side of the handguard. That will get the light up in front of the FSB, and right beside it either L or R.
