Does anyone use this scope on their ar? I'm thinking about this one for an ar pistol.
I have a Strikefire II on an AR pistol as well as three other Vortex offerings on other firearms. I highly recommend them.
Another vote for the strikefire ii, I recently took it off my rifle and am moving it to the pistol/sbr build.
I've got 3 or 4 Vortex optics, as well, and highly recommend them. I think the Sparc and a couple of Crossfire IIs, seems to me there's one other, as well, but I can't remember it. I don't have any of the really high-dollar offerings from them - or anybody, really.
I got mine in the mail today. It seems solid enough but the dot clarity is what I'm really impressed with. I have an astigmatism and I had lasik done a few years ago. Lights in general are blurry to me and I ended up selling off an Eotech and an Aimpoint. This one is nice and crisp. I was hopeful but it is better than I had hoped for.
Did you get the 1X from Cabelas for $199.99?
Mine came in Thursday and it seems nice. I may go ahead and get another one.
