Where are the 1000 yard ranges?

They are $50 per half day, im guessing 4 hours.

That's not even close to half a day. My fishing logic half days are 12 hours

There is a private range that has steel targets to 1500 yards but it is about 15 or 20 miles North of Tulsa, quite a ways from Oklahoma City.
It is called Open Range Shooters Retreat and it costs per person per hour.
It is a working cattle ranch and they do the range as an additional money generating business.
You have to call and schedule an appointment in advance.
Very nice people.

I called Annie's number listed above and she put me in touch with Walker Robles the man that runs a 1000 yard range located north of Tulsa but south of Ramona off Hwy 75 (34831 us 75, Oklahoma on Mapquest) The range is open to any shooter by appointment only, cost is $50 for 5 hours, a 2 day notice is desired by Walker who will serve as your spotter. The target is a 7'x6' tall white steel plate and you can ask to have it with a black center. If interested call Walker's cell 918-214-6072

I'd still like to check this place out after I get some more time behind my rifle. Get comfortable at 300 (furthest my range has) and go there and start walking it out to see what I can do.

It is a great range and Justin is a great guy. The regulars there are good people as well. Nobody should not go if they really want to because their afraid they will embarrass themselves.
