Well I know we all hope that the hearing protection act goes through and a reduction in the price of suppressor's drops but only time will tell if that will happen.

But I came across this place and figured I would share it with anyone who is interested in getting one or possibly some dealers around grabbing a few for resale.

http://rebelsilencers.com/

They have a .22 suppressor for 99.00 and a 30 cal suppressor for 249 which is REALLY cheap since the next closest I have seen in 30 cal is closer to 500.

It's a POS !
#1 Aluminum won't hold up to centerfire rifles.
#2 all those pieces can unscrew while firing and you will have a disaster
#3 This will be the problem if the HPA passes. Every Tom,Dick and Harry with get in for a quick buck.

On the aluminum, it may or may not depending on ammo and most importantly RATE of fire, but I agree there are much better materials to use.
I was at SHOT, seems like every T, D and H have already entered the suppressor market. Stick with a reputable company who builds quality, even if you have to spend a little more. I think it will take 18-24 months AFTER the HPA goes into effect to see the market stabilize and settle out. That doesn't mean you won't be able to find deals or quality products, it just means availability may be spotty and prices increased due to demand.

I dont think its a POS. Its just not a $1000 can. You just cant treat it as such. You just have to stick to the rate of fire suggested. Even some expensive cans have a low rate of fire rating. Isnt it the Harvester that only has a 3 round per minute rating on their 308 can?

$250 on a disposable suppressor
$200 everytime you want another disposable suppressor.
No thank you

Actually 250 on a suppressor and 20 bucks for a new baffle if one goes bad. If you read through you will see they have a replacement process.

And aluminium is used on a ton of suppressors that cost a LOT more. Will they handle full auto abuse, no but for a cheap device I think they will do pretty well for a 22 or 300 BLK build.
