Why would a Glock not cycle 147gr rds with a suppressor?

Glock 19 and Glock 34. Both just got new threaded barrels. Barrels are drop in, but fit nicely. I'm omitting the name of the barrel company for now because I'm going to email them in the morning and see if they have suggestions...

Ammo is 147gr RN from Freedom Munitions and the ammo cycles fine without the can. With the can, the round fires, but the slide does not even attempt to cycle or eject the round. On both guns, the barrel goes into battery with a new round just fine. Both barrels had about 100 rds through them before I tried the can. Can was screwed on tight. I was not limp-wristing the guns.

Silencer is an AAC TiRant 45 with the proper size piston and the Neilson device installed. The spring seems to work just fine and the can was recently cleaned. The can works just fine on 9mm and .45 1911s so I'm thinking I can rule that out. Everything so far points to the barrels, or ammo.

Both guns properly lubed/clean.

Thoughts???

I am having this same issue as well, though not as severe (the spent case ejects but the slide fails to fully return to battery). Did a bit of poking around on Google and saw some references to the fact that the booster mechanism needs to be greased, but I haven't been out to the range to try it yet.

One reference is the FAQ page at the Gemtech website, see "Cleaning & Maintenance" then "Do I need to clean my suppressor?" (Gemtech calls a Nielsen Device a "LID")

Know zero about suppressors but buying drop in threaded barrels on all the guns I can. Doing so where I can shoot suppressed on occasion. Saying that, after you try scottb42 suggestion or find a fix, please post.
It will be good to know. Trying to learn as much as possible before I buy and use.

The 1911's (both 9 and 45) work just fine using the suppressor you said, so the problem is the host.

My Glock doesn't like light loads. Combine lighter subsonic loads with a tighter fit barrel and added weight on the muzzle and it could easily spell jam.

The first thing I would do is try some 147g ammo from a reputable manufacturer.

Glocks are fine if left in their stock configuration, but as soon as you change anything other than the sights, they're known to fail.
Adding the suppressor sent that Austrian brick into panic mode.

Not all 147gr ammo are created equal. Not all 147's are sub-sonic either. Try to find a brand that is as close to sound barrier as possible.
If you can chronograph to verify speed (unsuppressed) that would be great. some mfgrs lie about speed.
Grease the piston and spring.
