Pulled the trigger on a Creedmoor today

Got tired of waiting and ordered the Ruger American Predator 6.5 Bolt action creedmoor today. Got it a lot cheaper than I've seen (got a great deal). It will be a couple of weeks (maybe longer) as it's back ordered by a local.
Decided on it because it has the accutrigger, threaded barrel and attached rail.
Not crazy about the pea green stock so I will either rattle can, custom paint or replace with a Boyd stock.
Will put a good (not super expensive) scope on it and have some fun.
This is not a hunting gun so I can play with a bit.

Suggestions to stock or comments are welcome.

Very cool. Im trying to talk a buddy into buying one in 243. If you decide to sell the stock let me know. Small possibility I could be interested.

Accutriggers are pretty nice.
Rifle basix and Timney make triggers, but I'd sure give the accutrigger a try before changing.

It's a very lite rifle. I plan on running a can on it but will have to drop some cash on a very lite one.
Just got off the phone with a kid that's a great artist. Thinking of letting him go nuts on the stock, with a theme I give him. Will have to see what he comes up with when I get the gun. Going to let him do a drawing first. His idea of cool and original, may not be my idea of cool and original. Hell he's a millennial.

Question, why the 6.5 Creedmore instead of the 6.5 Grendal? Been trying to decide which is better

Very cool! I wouldn't ditch the stock just yet. The v-block bedding design of the Ruger American's stock is, in theory at least, one of its most significant features.

I think more load options.

If I decide to go a different direction with this gun, I thinking about the the MDT LSS like the one posted here on the Ruger American 6.5 creedmoor. Plus you can put the added AICS mags.
