Whattya gonna do? Run to Wally World and empty the shelves of milk, eggs, bottled water, etc.? If you've lived here long, you know you need to be alert and keep an eye to the sky and an ear to your favorite TV News Station. I'm going to go about my day as usual and just turn up the sensitivity knob on the bad-weather-o-meter this afternoon and be ready to dig in, bail, get underground, or prepare to repel looters as required and on sight.

the first tornado season we moved here from Florida, my sister started boarding up her windows and stockpiling cans in the closet.

If a tornado hits your house, it's not going to do you any goods, so figured.

Update to last night. Watched the weather and just bands of rain and some wind. They would come through every 45 minutes or so. Stayed up even after the satellite went out and no weather reports. Me and the dog hung in till I fell asleep (dog always asleep) in the recliner. Wife comes in and wakes me up to let me know it's hailing then she goes back to bed. What the heck am I suppose to do about the hail? Ha!
But being the beaten down husband I am, I stayed up and listened to the hail and then the torrential rain (got 3").
After the stuff finally went through, I guess the wife just wanted me awake or she though I could do something about the hail.
Checked the garden bed and I think the tomatoes will survive. Needed the rain even though most was just run off.
