Considering statefarm has a list of the most dangerous intersections in the country and 2 of top 5 are in Tulsa, i am not suprised that OK is a break even state. But i stand by my statement. Insurance companies are by far very profitable.
What other product has been forced upon consumers by law, yet the retailer has no law governing tbeir end.
Now you will point out the insurrance commission etc.
In the end, they do everything they can to NOT make good on their end. They create things like deductibles, and gap insurrance and the list goes on and on.

Are any of these any good? Anyone have experience with them? Wife is wanting to get one on her '14 jeep wrangler ,but I have no clue if they are worth the money

Lots of noise here, IMO. It is up to you, obviously. I bought/ordered a new 2015 Ram 2500. It has a boat load of electronics and computers that can go bad over time without warning. They can get very expensive to repair or replace. On my Ram I paid $2450 for the Chrysler Maxcare Lifetime Warranty. There is a $100 deductible. This is through Chrysler and not some third party. I would not go third party coverage. You should be able to get the Maxcare or another long term warranty on the '14 still.

I can try to locate my info and post it for you to call and get a quote. I didn't buy it from the dealer I bought my truck from as they were too high. I bought it from another Ram dealer in the Midwest. Or you can go direct to Chrysler. All it takes is one part to crap the bed and the coverage would be worth it.

I bought one for my wife's new Cayenne Turbo that we just picked up. It's through Porsche. It basically extends the standard coverage to 7 years. She loves these cars and plans on keeping this one a while.

We bought a car from a friend who purchased an extended warranty as part of the package when he bought the car new. I don't remember what he had to use it for, maybe the A/C IIRC, and he said the warranty paid for itself with that one repair. There was the option to transfer title of the policy (shocked the **** outta me) when we bought the car. Think it cost us $25 to transfer it at the original dealership. Since I plan on keeping this car from now on, and there are no ongoing payments it was worth it. I keep meticulous records on our routine maintenance, though. Just in case.

So this is how it will go? I called you out and now you troll any thread i comment in? So sad.
So let me refer to my post where i say that you will cite the existence of the insurrance commission. Which does exist. Yet insurrance companies keep coming up with creative ways and wordings to allow themselves to NOT do what they are paid to do. So where are these laws you speak of? We see laws which make you buy insurrance, yet we continue to see the companies not pay out for this reason or that.

Haha. I assume this was directed at me. Dude... you really think too highly of yourself. I didn't even notice who made the comment I responded to, and I didn't care.

Don't worry, by next week, I'll have forgotten who you are anyways... you really aren't that important to me. lol

We only bought one and for some reason I thought I needed to at the time. My wife was driving a new 89 mustang after college. The Nissan 240sx had just came out and she had to have one. It was the first year for the car and i just thought the bugs re prolly not worked out yet. Sure enough, there was an issue with the a/c and the regulators went out in both windows twice. The warranty was through the dealer and we were in Albuquerque when it happened once. One phone call and the dealer out there had us on the road in a couple hours.
