I will be the first to admit that i believe there are thing that we cannot explain, I won't go as far as saying aliens and sasquatches are not real but I won't completely discredit them.

That being said my one story I have is me and the wife were driving behind a grocery store and we saw something run across the road into a wooded area. I cannot explain what we saw but I was hairless and slightly larger than a raccoon but smaller than a big dog, the closest thing I have found to what it looked like was the "chupacabra" they found in Texas a few years ago. That thing freaked me out because I have no explanation to what it was and it wasn't just me who saw it.

We did the Elf on a Shelf thing for the kids. Don't know how, but Jingles went MIA. Searched high and low, couldnt find him. My son was upset that everyone's elf but his had shown up. So I snuck out and bought one after he went to bed. He made his appearance, and after a couple of days, the missing elf showed up. In damn near plain sight, and no one knows where it came from. The damn thing had been missing 2 years and showed up in a spot we couldnt have missed. So now I get to deal with two of the damn things.

When I think about the prospects we have awaiting us in this country, I get that feeling of dread.

Sometimes people who are going to have a heart attack have a feeling of "impending in doom." Not saying you are but someday our hearts will stop beating regardless of station....

long ago we used to go down on the river by the kerr nuclear plant outside of crescent. little farm gate, 1/4 mile down a rutted farm road, turn left and thru the trees to river. me, my old lady at that time Lynn, and my oldest friend went, we were so screwed up and drunk we only made it the 1/4 mile in before we gave out. we spread our blanket and were passing the wine bottle when Lynn suggested we leave, we asked why, she stalled and wouldn't answer. a few seconds later she said "guys, i saw something", we asked what she had seen. she said it looked like Gollum, the hair on my arms stood up. my old friend and i both shouted at her she better not be bs'ing us. then claims once again to have seen it. we all jump to our feet, amazing considering how F'd up we were, grabbed the blanken and likely broke the world record for a 1/4 mile sprint back to the car, knowing every step of the way Gollum was on our trail. jumped into the car and drove back to OKC, none of us would look at the back seat because we KNEW Golllum was there. we laughed about when we got back to OKC, but i wanted to strangle Lynn

HAHA!, Ok, I'll be the gullible victim......Who is Gollum? I'm thinking it wasn't smart being the person to ask this question.
Kinda like a henway, or who wants to go on a snipe hunt?
