Why would a Glock not cycle 147gr rds with a suppressor?

Lol, I see it all the time.
Go to any USPSA, steel challenge, or 3 gun match where competitors are known to use aftermarket products. 90% of all failures at the matches are from Glocks that have been messed with.

Maybe you should actually pay attention when you're at the range.
I do pay attention. I look through the sights of my G34 and look at all the 1911 jams and just quietly laugh.

Stock glocks are way oversprung. You don't have to search far on the internet to find countless people with btf issues. Even if it does exhibit btf very few can pass the 10-8 ejection test.

Glocks can be made more reliable with aftermarket parts. Those guys at the matches are having issues because they played gunsmith in their garage. Not solely because they put in aftermarket parts.

Plenty of stock glocks choke as well. This is coming from a guy who owns nothing but Glock pistols.

But I do agree, messing with the stock internals is risky business. I have found a lot of the spring kits out there make the gun completely unreliable.
