George Strait Tequila?

I know George loaned his name and appearance(spokes person) to this tequila plus he invested a little money in this company.

He's been touring a few cities and locations promoting this tequila. I heard he was in Broken Arrow at a private residence/party promoting this product.

Anyways...I was in my favorite liquor store yesterday and I thought I saw a picture of George with a glass of this stuff.

Anyone try it? Thoughts? My favorite tequila is El Jimador....may have to check out some (cheaper?) prices in Mexico of George's tequila.

These modern and "fancy-er" tequilas are supposed to be sippin' and not lime with a shot.

This modern tequila, they've been making the last few years ....they're trying to compare it with scotch and American whiskey at a sipping level????

If you take a shot of some of the high end Tequilas, and then try to toss down some of that nasty Huervo, there is s substantial difference.
We did a Tequila tour the last time we were in Puerto vallarta. There is a difference.

To be honest, I was never a tequila shot fan. Probably 90% (or more?) of the tequila I've ever had was in a Sunrise...

I have drank Tequila exactly 6 times. The results were Daughter 1, son 1, daughter 2, daughter 3, son 2 and daughter 4. In that order.....NO MAS, NO MAS!!!

LOL, it seems to cause different reactions with different folks for sure.
I don't partake much anymore, but back in the day, there are some stories not repeatable on a public forum. All the result of three things......Tequila, salt and lime.

stumbled down a long flight of stairs with a hot link sammich in my left hand, hit the front hood of a 54 chevy, squeezed the hot link sammich bun upon impact, watched the hot link shoot out of the bun and roll across the windshield, my supposed friend was laughing at me and scooped up my hot link less bun and ate it, fargin bastige. and it all seemed to happen in slow motion
