ordered a tommy copper back thingy you see on tv. got it yesterday, don't think there's much copper in it but the elastic compression seems to have relieved some of the strain, and my back is still mostly iffy but not hurting right now. that could change by tomorrow

I have a wicked case of chronic peritoneal tendinitis ... I picked up the one that goes on your ankle at JCP for $10. I dunno if the copper helps but it is more comfortable that the other half-dozen or so braces I have tried. And it beats the heck outta that stupid boot I had to wear all February.

Glad it's helping. Back pain is NO FUN. My dad battled it for years. I don't know if he ever really didn't have some level of pain from the arthritis in his back. I remember the doctors telling him when I was in grade school -- so he was in his mid-30s, that his arthritis was so bad he'd be in a wheelchair before he was old enough to retire. That man was still working livestock in his 60s.
