I've shot pump 870s and Mossburgs since I was 7-8 years old. Finally wanting a nice auto, I've shot Beretta M4 and Banelli A4s loved them both, also know Browning makes a great auto and heard good things about Winchester as well. Let me know yalls opinions.

Find the shotgun that fits you. You can shoot a $75 H&R single shot better if it fits you vs a $5000 shotgun that doesn't.
That's the simplified version. There is a whole lot more to shotgun shooting than putting it to your shoulder and pulling a trigger.

Benelli or Beretta.......but Beretta, any of the a400 series.

This right here. I love my Vinci, it has the comfortech stock and shims so you can adjust the drop and cast, it's light, points fast and well, it's a Benelli inertia gun so a little oil and it'll run no matter what unless you use some super wimpy loads. Mine runs the 1145 FPS just fine but I doubt it'll go lower than than that. Seems to be softer on the shoulder than the M2. A Beretta gas gun would be my next choice.

I also kinda like the old Browning humpback Auto-5. You shoulder them and the bead is just right there. With the friction ring set up properly with at least a 1 1/8 oz load they run like the Energizer bunny. They just work, because...John Moses Browning.

The MAN Speaks the truth here. ^^^^
When the Sweet 16 (circa 1946) hits the shoulder, something usually dies or breaks. When transitioning to the 12 ga Browning Citori, I have an issue with keeping my head down at the shot, vs the heads up shooting with the humpback.

Iv'e shot about every shotgun on the planet but hands down my favorite is my Remington VersaMax. Check out the gases from the ports and the shot column leaving the barrel.
