Anyone got one and want to review it? I've never been behind one but they look pretty neat. If any of you have one, how do you like it? What model is it? What are the pros and cons?
Would you prefer another optic?
I'm thinking of a 223/556 AR.
Love to see pictures of it too.

Get a variable like 1-4 or 1-6 lot more versatile, do not waste time with an ACOG. Been there done that, meh, keep looking.

I run a SWFA 1-6.

Used them for years overseas, they work well and are pretty rugged, expensive as all get out though. Like $1200.00 or so I believe. For day to day civilian use, I would save the money and buy something non military associated, tends to be cheaper most of the time. SWFA makes a good scope like @Jwryan84 stated above IMHO and you save some cash for more goodies like hardware and ammo...

Just looking at vids, online, and got caught up in it. Have the Leup on my AR and have no problems hitting steel at 300 now.
Don't let the haters hate. ACOG is a great optic. Very versatile for hitting targets out to 800 yards or more. Super clear glass. I have a lot of variable scopes and an optic that goes down to 1x has its place too. But a gun you can grab and go and be confident for anything from 100-800 without even thinking, the ACOG is great and fast.

What model and power is it. I think they go up to 6x. Seems you would need some power to hit at 800 (at least at my level).
