I agree with all of the above. I mean, it's never really been a "realistic" kind of show, but some of the things are just getting too stupid over-the-top. Gasoline availability and stability being one of them. Ammunition in enough quantities to be expended like storm troopers who can't hit the broad side of a barn. Stupid scenes where they allow people to "pontificate" when their stated aim is simply to KILL THEM.
I, too, am losing interest. Over the last 2-3 seasons I've become more of a casual "meh" fan, but it's just getting worse now. I certainly ain't gonna lose sleep or plan my evening around watching this. If there's a Thunder game on, that'll be the choice over TWD, for sure.

Not to mention I would have gone to the coast, found a big ass boat and lived on that as long as possible .....anchor out in about 50 foot of water and not worry about noise. In fact I’d make as much noice as possible and feed the damn sharks
I remember the point where I really stopped caring much about it. Is when Glen didnt die and hid under the dumpster. I mean, come on.
With all of the above being considered, I would still like to see the series actually close out with some kind of a logical ending sequence (beyond becoming zombie chow)...something like finding a remote mountain town where some semblance of civilization is holding out or finding that there is still a provisional US government in place with real safe zones established, something, anything other than just signing off one day.
I did and there were a few notable events plus Darryl once again showed why he's a great guy to have your back. Interesting question arose about how to handle surrenders/POWs. Rick rescued a baby.
Ok, here is one big question....where did they get all the M16s. Yeah, I know someone is going to say “they are everywhere cause of all the military guys that had them”.
