Yeah, that's right. I've used Altamont before. They are reasonably well-made and not overly expensive. They're laminated.

The video was made by Hogue; at the 3:45 mark is the beginning of the alternate method to remove grip without their plastic tool.

Just read this. Do you already have the tool? If not PM me, somehow I ended up with an orphaned tool that you are welcome to.

Thanks. Yeah, Hogue sent me one. Old grips removed and new ones installed (see pic). Now I have an orphaned tool. More than one, as it is.
