I've carried at 3 o'clock for over 10 years. I started carrying AIWB a little over a year ago. I like both, but I think for my purposes, AIWB conceals better with a weapon light. If I didn't run a weapon light, I'd ride 3 o'clock. Personal preference, it simply depends on a persons needs.

Carrying a gun with its “business end” pointed at genitalia or juncture of thigh and lower abdomen gives some people the absolute creeps.
If the gun does discharge in an AIWB, results range from castration to death. The femoral artery is often in the line of fire.

Then you better start to realize how many people and body parts are swept when you are using whatever holster your using.

I'd wager that the majority of castrations via firearm discharge while carrying AIWB was because no holster was used at all. Or a really ****** one, which abound. A good one like the Keeper that is actually designed for it negates the risk. After looking mine over when receiving it and seeing how the gun fits in it I haven't thought about it. Of course you DO have to be cognizant when holstering your gun but that applies to ANY holster.
