Smoke and Truex here. I haven't been a fan for several years, but a couple of years ago got interested watching a race where Truex's Furniture Row was running well. Started pulling for the underdog. Nice finish to last year.
Underdogs performed well last year Truex, Trump.
Big Tony fan from the open wheel days. Gordon also in his early years, but later he turned a little prima dona.

I used to watch 'wide world of sports' back in the day to catch a few minutes of NASCAR between golf and gymnastics. Big mark Martin fan from back in the day. Watched him run dirt in the region. Most folks don't know that rusty Wallace was the 1980 Tulsa track champion. Oklahoma was a hotbed of racing for future champs at one time.
The guy in my avatar raced against mark, rusty and Ken shrader on a weekly basis. I love the dirt days!
Clint Boyer is a past late model dirt guy too. Check out the NASCAR guys racing at eldora, now owned by Tony Stewart,on YouTube, good chit right there.

I quit NASCAR way back when they decided to save the planet by mandating ethanol fuel. :nolike:
I turned it off forever when they started that "Lucky Dog lap" before a caution and the "Race to the Chase" BS instead of the traditional racing for the whole season.

Ya'll enjoy your final 2 lap green finishes...
