Inforce WMLx gen 2 800 lumen light problems

I bought the inforce WMLx Gen 2 800 lumen white light back in November from primary arms. I have only shot maybe 200 rounds through my AR while it has been mounted and have only turned the light on for a total of about 5 minutes since I first got it. About a month after I got it I wanted to go outside and see how good it worked and it would barely light up. So I changed the batteries out to streamlight batteries and it worked like it was supposed to. Fast forward to Friday night and I went to turn it on again and it wouldn’t turn on at all. So I put new batteries in again and now it works again. Obviously there is an issue with it so I am sending it back to PA for an exchange. Has any of y’all had any issues with these lights? Or have you heard of issues with them? From what I’ve read of reviews and seen on YouTube they are supposed to be really good. I just don’t understand how the battery is being drained when I don’t even turn it on that often. And when I do it is only for maybe a minute at most. But maybe it’s something else.

It's a known issue. If you are looking for an economical and reliable light, I'd use Streamlight. The Inforce has never been highly rated, from flying off guns, to the battery issue you are having.

Well shoot. I am sending it back for an exchange. I guess I will be sending that one back. The only reason I bought it to begin with is because it was on sale for $120 back in November. I have a streamlight on my G17. Probably pick one up for my rifle now. Thanks.
