Thought about keeping this short but screw it.
Was nice this morning and wife had went to TX with her sis so I snuck off to shoot. Got to the range the Range in Ada to shoot the creedmoor but they were having a mouse gun 5 stage competition. Watched a little and can't wait to get where I can participate.
Anyway, decided to go to the inside range and try the Kimber 45 out till they finished at the club. Not a great idea. Can't hold with off hand so mostly gripped with the strong hand and held up gun and left hand with it...Ha. Still not bad at 10 yards but was glad to empty the last mag. This will hurt me tomorrow. (Pic attached of Kimber and target)
Next I went back to range to shoot the creedmoor. Used the Iphone clip to my spotting scope and took a video of my first shot. It don't get any better than that shot. 100 yards using Hornady 147 grain match. WOW! Unfortunately I had set my zero stops on my scope and neglected to tighten the set screws, so the zero is no longer zero, as you can see with the picture I attached, it moved hard. That was about all my shoulder could take, so home I went to beat the wife. She's wondering how I got sunburnt.
I got to shoot but need to wait a week or two more before I do it again.

Forgot to mention that I used the Iphone clip that you attach to your spotting scope to video my target as I was shooting. Lots of thermal interference in the quality but I like it. Took about an hour to set it up, and make it work with one hand, but I will make some changes to it and I think I will like it.

Looks wondermous to me! Just take it easy! I might have to look for an adapter for my phone to hang on the spotting scope and do the same.

Had to pull the rubber eye piece off but they go right back on. I think you could make one. I'll show you mine and you will see what I mean.

Sounds good. Where'd you find it? Amazon? I've got a Samsung Galaxy, but I bet somebody makes 'em for that, or one you could 'adapt.'

I picked up mine at Bass pro. Could probably get it cheaper online. I'll take a pic of it tomorrow and post it. Pricy at 50 bucks but I had some gift cards to burn, so it was kinda free.
I'd be happy to let you borrow mine, to try out, before you buy one. Just let me know. Be glad to do it.
