they're hard to come by but there is a 64gr gold dot that is sometimes available. i loaded up a couple of thousand of them last year. the 55gr gold dot might still be available,,,think i got them from NE Reloading

55 grain won’t be very stable.

Yeah, the upper came with the break. I've never been a big fan of them. I'll likely get a thread protector and do away with it.

I’ve got a cure for those loud and obnoxious brakes! :-)

I didnt catch the fact it had a brake on it. Brakes are brutal on the ears. I know normally you dont even hear the shot when you are hunting but that brake will make the kiddo not want to go anymore if she shoots it while hunting and without hearing protection.

Sighted in the red-dot yesterday. My god, that muzzle break has got to go. I was sitting in my blind waiting for pigs afterward and ordering a thread protector at the same time.

Little more $$ than a thread protector but those KAK Flash cans do a great job. They come in different widths and lengths.

Very true. Winchester 64gr power points work great for me. Accurate and perform well on whitetail and hogs.

Federal MSR 62 grain has worked great for me on deer and coyotes. Academy usually has it in stock.
