I just remembered something the local postman told me.
He said the post office will intentionally hold mail from being delivered if they know there is a quota count comming up or something like that.
It is not like the place counts all the deliveries ..but certain weeks or something like that there is a count.
So mail is held and then delivered to make the counts look high.
SUCK DEAL!
You would not think the post office would pull stunts like that
I wonder if that is what was going on with your package.
You ever wish 20 years ago you bought a truck load of forever stamps.
I almost feel that is the only way to stick it back to them.
