I’m not, but I do shoot there a bunch. It’s much closer than H&H for me and a helluva lot cleaner. I’ve been thinking about joining as well, but I have spurts where I don’t shoot for a month or two, then shoot 4-5 times in a month. 50 a month is a big time bill I don’t want to foot. I wish they had a cheaper option for sale 25 for 5 trips a month?

It looks like they have an option that is like the $50 but it is only Monday through Friday and it is $30.

Is it a pretty laid back environment in there or are they constantly watching over you while shooting? I'm thinking of going up there this Friday evening after I get paid and signing up.

When you first walk in and see all these kids half your age behind the counter appendix carrying a Glock that became Non Glock 5 paychecks ago, dressed in 5:11's and combat boots, my first thought was WTF did I just walk into? Then one of them greets you at the door with a smile and a welcome. Next does the same and so on. Get to the range counter and nothing but great CS. They go over the few rules they have, check your ammo and your set. The only time I've seen an employee on the range is when they are training or the gunsmiths sending a few rounds down range and going back to the counter. I've paid a lot of attention to guys doing the training and they all talk to the person like he/she is a person, not like they are Rambo/Tackleberry type.

I wouldn't say its laid back, but it's comfortable. I generally hate people as whole, but I've never felt uncomfortable or crowded there. Safety 1st in Edmond was exactly the opposite of Wilshire. Why I never went back. H&H just gives me the impression of a custer F and needing a tetanus shot afterwards. Wilshire is a good place in my opinion. I think you will enjoy it.

Thanks, that's exactly what I am looking for. Love the honesty and always great to hear a Tackleberry reference. I actually just watched most of the Police Academy movies last week. This just made up my mind for me.
