I bought one of the Lee last year at the gun show for $10 just because the guy didnt want to take it back home, and i have had a mec jr for 26 years and has never loaded a shell with it some guy gave it to the wife at a yard sale just to get rid of it.

I have the Lee press, they’re slow to use but make good shot shells for my purposes. (Black powder CAS). I’ve never loaded smokeless shells with it. I sure wouldn’t pay that price for a used unit.

I have one of the lee loaders for shotgun. Loaded thousands of shells with it when reloading was cheaper than buying and money was tight.
Not as fast as my current RCBS Grand progressive shotshell loader, but the lee can also do 3" shells. It doesn't use a positive stop like the 2 3/4" shells, you just have to get a "feel" for when the crimp is done before crushing the hull. The new ones come with a dozen shot and powder bushings to use in combination for different loads under the top lid. Yours have them still? As Pulp said, I've used it to build black powder shotshells as well.
The Mec 600 is a great loader as well. Lots of trap shooters use them.
I think you can get a universal charge bar so variable loads of shot and powder can be used.
Typically you have to purchase bushings for each load though and put in the standard charge bar.
