Until they figured out no one shoots revolvers anymore...
They still do, check the OKCGC calendar for ICORE match dates. I think they are every other month now. There is one this coming Saturday.

I used to like ICORE until the addiction to weird par time scoring stages and the 8 shot revolvers made the OKC match impossible to enjoy with a 6-shot revolver. What genius decided making par time mikes all penalty mikes was a good idea?
(If you don't know what that means when the par time stage is designed for 8-shot revolvers, the 6-shot revolvers require an extra reload and get stuck with a load of penalties when they can't finish. USPSA par time mikes are non-penalty mikes, so your score is not zeroed because you can't finish.)

My EDC is a revolver.
They were cool...in 1890. Why go with a revolver when there are so many better choices. If you shoot a revolver better...more power to you. But if you need that reload and you're not Jerry Mickulek ...you are in trouble.
