Using .223 for hogs and deer- it works- but i'm picky about ammo. The bonded fusion bullet opens wider than the solid copper barnes ( or Win boar xt), but the barnes 62 gr so far produces a decent exit on deer at angles that include shoulders, and on bigger hogs. Sooner or later one runs out of sight- then an exit is pretty important..

Not really, I saw that on a tv show recently. I use a .458 SOCOM, but we will take ya out down here.

This would make a great hog gun if you can afford the ammo. :)

I’ve heard lots about it. Then again, 2 years ago I was hearing lots about the 25-45 Sharps. I think the problem Sharps had was not standardizing it and giving the specs to SAAMI so other manufacturers could make it. Regarding the 224 Valkyrie, have you got one? If yes, what impressions do you have so far sir?

No I don't have one. I was reading up on it recently and it sounds quite impressive other than the cost of factory ammo.
