Ok, so I inherited a DPMS Ar15 that came with an EagleEye Optics CO red dot scope. There is no model number on the scope and I found that EagleEye was a dubious company that went under. The scope so far is pretty nice, no gripes on it. It came with some Butler Creek flip up lens covers and the front cover broke. The only markings on it were L20 EYE. Went to find a replacement and it asks for the outside diameter. Can I get just a size 20? I was guessing the L stood for left as that is the side the open lever is on.

Meh, I don't have a way to host pictures anymore. Its an actual laser dot. Red and green with three intensity settings for each color and has four dot types: dot, crosshair, circle and circled cross hair. Right now the cap busted off the hinge so I can still place the cap on, just have to take it off and put it in my pocket.

For further reference, its commonly referred to as a red dot sight. I wouldn't spend anymore $ on it

I know its not an expensive model of a red dot sight, but its all I have right now and was just looking to get a $15 or so popup cover. Since I don't have the specs of the scope, I was wondering if I can just get a size 20 Butler Creek cover for it since the original was stamped L20 EYE.

The Butler Creek scope covers are notoriously inaccurate in their size. I was real fortunate finding a counter guy at the Bass Pro in Branson Mo that found a scope like mine and we went through all the butler creek covers until we found one that fit tightly.
