Is anyone aware if there are any shops in the OKC are that carry Wilderness instructor belts? I'd like to lay hands on both the 5 stitch and the polymer lined CSM versions before deciding which to purchase.

About all I have seen are other brands, but for some reason I think I saw some at BDC.

Most local shops are not going to stock the because of the expense and the average customer not willing to pay that kind of a price.

I have a 5 stitch with Titanium buckle that works outstanding for me.

Call Wilderness. 800-775-5650 and ask if there are stocking dealers in the area.

I own two, a black original and a coyote frequent flier. Both are 1 3/4 inch and both have the CSM liner. I rarely wear anything else.

I do have a Looper Leather that I wear on dressy days, but yeah, Wilderness all the way for me. Worth every penny

Thanks guys...have either of you owned both versions to be able compare the comfort versus stiffness of each? To be completely honest I can't stand the two piece stitched leather belt that I'm currently using. It is way too inflexible and digs into my hips constantly. I am wanting something that is flexible enough to be fairly comfortable, but still rigid enough to support a full sized pistol when needed. I was leaning towards the 5 stitch since I'm afraid that the polymer insert version may feel similar.

If I were going to go back to a Wilderness belt , I would choose the 3 stitch and go for the Frequent Flyer version. The CSM is definitely stiffer than the 5 stitch, I wore both versions for years.
