If the cap has a lever on it, it was not the correct cover for the front of the scope. Which should be confirmed by the "EYE" marked on it. This is for the eyepiece end of the scope instead of the objective end. The objective end (front) should only have a tab on it, not a lever.

Meh, if you like it (no matter how cheap it is), buy another cover if it seems reasonable to you.

Meh, I don't have a way to host pictures anymore. Its an actual laser dot. Red and green with three intensity settings for each color and has four dot types: dot, crosshair, circle and circled cross hair. Right now the cap busted off the hinge so I can still place the cap on, just have to take it off and put it in my pocket.

Tanis if you have a cell/smart phone you can sign in to OSA on your phone and post pics from your phone with out a host!!

Even with that good of a scope I doubt my accuracy would be any better lol
