I'm of two minds here. On the one hand, roaming feral cats are brutal on wildlife and are definitely a nuisance. On the other hand, I like cats and animals in general, so I don't kill anything I don't have to or I'm not going to eat. If you feel you must kill cats please do so as humanely as possible, and consider holding a "Korean Barbecue" for the neighborhood.

Sprinkle powdered Cayenne pepper in the area, don't let it get on plants as if it gets wet it will burn the leaves

So you would rather they catch them and take them to the shelter to be killed??? Nuisance animals get put down every day, whether rat or wolf or pig!! Or in this case a cat that someone let run loose!

I used to think that way. Till I had to unbolt my truck seats, take them out and get them professionally cleaned. I've lost count of the motorcycle covers I've had to throw away because they get sprayed. Roaming cats get sent to the Happy Sandbox in the Sky, post haste.

I hate cats! They like to piss on tractor seats or on saddle blankets. Round here, cats are greeted by dogs or bullets before meeting the Creator.

FYI: 55 grain vmax in 22-250 will pretty much reduce a standard size cat to red foam.

Bought a set to take care of some nuisances where I live, when I got them I had something for 10 bucks off as well so was super cheap. I know there is a pack of coyotes that comes through every couple months that helps keep the strays down. But when the people are leaving food out for the animals and the skunks and possums look at you like they own the place it's time for them to go and am pretty sure the coyotes won't aim for the skunk with cats roaming around.

Since I've posted my original true clam that only sick, weak person would kill or hurt cats. I've been flooded support and criticism.

I stand by my clam. Four a pitiful, wear excuse of a person for hurting or killing cats.

The fact you own guns and are a part of this forum, scares me.
