2018 Controlled Hunts

Other than you get your name in the hat extra times with points the draw is 100% random. What brian89 states just goes to prove that. Does not matter how many points you got everyone who puts in has a shot.

With the deer hunts you could wait years to get drawn for the same hunt one guy could get drawn for 2-3 times while you wait. Shear luck. One time I drew deer hunts 2 years in a row.

Maybe 5 year waits between high demand deer hunts wouldn’t be a bad thing? I dunno. Just a thought.

Just out of curiosity, why not post it up? I get not sharing it in most cases, but a controlled hunt is, well, controlled; it's highly unlikely that it'll ever conflict with your use. Posting it here might help somebody else next year, or some time further in the future, and still wouldn't conflict with you.

Because it would be a lot easier to give info over the phone or in person where I can point out some spots on google maps etc. I’m happy to provide the info to anyone who wants to talk.

That wasn't an attack, it was a polite question. I even stated outright that I understand not sharing in most cases. His answer made a lot of sense, and pointed out something that hadn't occurred to me. Then I thanked him for what he taught me.
