I was wondering how they would enforce that. Won't stop people from having a firearm hidden, loaded and chambered. Wanna bet that someone is going to get fined when someone breaks into the house and they shoot them? Cops are going to be like "How did you get access to your gun so fast?".

"I was cleaning it." Followed with, "What took you guys so long to get here?"

The Seattle City Council unanimously approved two gun control regulations Monday, originally proposed by Mayor Jenny Durkan, that require safe storage of firearms. Seattle residents now face penalties if they do not safely store their firearms or report lost and stolen guns.

Just because you can still keep the guns you have doesn't mean these "laws" don't infringe upon the Right to Keep and Bear Arms. These councilors and mayor either don't understand or don't care about the Right to Keep and Bear Arms and the Second Amendment.
