Right now I wish I had about 10 acres. I would apply for a growers license. Remember, its called a weed because it can grow anywhere. Thankfully we live in a state where I can be armed to protect my crops :D
As long as you have a license issued by the state to carry that gun

Works exponentially quicker; ingested cannabis can take up to 2 hours or so to be effective - just what someone suffering from seizures or pain needs when they need quick relief.

You just had to know that if Oklahoma did actually vote it in, that this back-asswards state would eff it up.

No, the stupid voters voted for a poorly written question.

Docs do push new drugs and they are more costly than the older and well proven drugs. But that title, MD carries a LOT of weight. And those new drugs hurt the average wage earner who can’t afford the higher cost.

I believe the Oklahoma Pharmacy Board was caught off guard by this. Quite a few legal issues to work out there.........all the 70yo retired pharmacists will be back to work lol.
Yes, the news reported this morning that the pharmacist's guild had successfully lobbied for protectionist rules for its members.

This is infuriating.

Voters approved SQ788. Despite what some condescending opponents have suggested, we knew what we were voting for.

By first banning popula...r forms of edible medical cannabis, and now banning smokable medical cannabis - and placing expensive restrictions on dispensaries - the Health Department seems to be doing its level best to gut the law before t even takes effect. It’s unacceptable.

I will do everything I can to reverse course on the Department’s decisions, and I bet I’ll find willing partners in the House.

I get that decisions like this make folks feel that their vote doesn’t matter—in fact that seems to be the message the Health Department is tying to send—but I’ve got to point out that this is precisely why elections DO matter. The legislative and executive branch have the power to overturn decisions made by unelected bureaucrats. We just have to have the political will to do it.

Oklahomans deserve leaders in the House, Senate, and Governor’s office who won’t undermine the will of the people. When Okies have voted on State Questions lately, we’ve chosen the progressive path a lot—we modernized alcohol laws, approved criminal justice reform, upheld the separation of church and state—but we have to also choose leaders who will uphold those decisions.

I didn’t intend for this to be a partisan post necessarily, but I’ll be voting for Democrats in November because they’re the only ones who’ve told me without equivocation that they’ll respect the will of the people. I hope you will too.

I was listening to the Chad Alexander show yesterday KOKC on the radio and callers were calling in saying they voted no for 788 but after this fiasco, they were going to go sign the petition for 796-797. It really has lit a fire under people to spite the health dept and legislators.
Pot will be legal in Nov. Thats' my prediction. How poetic that would be.
