You are putting your meds in your checked bags?

If so, why don't you carry them in with you? I do.[/QUOTE
Just the BP, Col, etc. I carry anything worth stealing in their prescription bottle(s) in may backpack. If I half to carry each pill in their prescription bottle I'd need two backpacks.

Plus they shouldn't be stealing things.
Indeed, but this is nothing new. :(

Several years ago, one of the news/documentary programs (60 minutes? Dateline? Don't remember) put tracking devices in some laptops and booked flights with them in checked luggage.

Not sure how long it took, but they had enough stolen to make a program about tracking them down to TSA employee homes. :/

I guess that's the thing. They have expensive and extensive video surveillance everywhere (taxpayer dollars pays for this in the Fed budget for security/safety) and yet they can't catch these pricks from stealing.

When I travel, I put all my meds in one of those clear topped daily pill dispensers for a week. Then I take clear packing tape and seal the lids on each side. That way they never spill and I can immediately see if someone pulled up the tape or tampered with it. It's a cheap, effective way to make sure all my meds are where I put them when my bag arrives at the other end. It only took once having my meds spilled all over my bag to put a stop to that.

Also, each TSA checked baggage screening location has TSA camera systems over the search stations. If you suspect something was stolen while your bag was being searched, file a complaint with TSA and they will investigate/review video of your bag being searched.

Just got back from Vegas
I just got back last Tuesday. My bitching about TSA is in the other thread. How hot did it get while you were there? 110 for us.

I'm not a huge gambler as you can see. I'm more about sitting at the bar for a while, drinking for free, and talking to people if they are interesting. The four 5s paid the best, as you can probably also see. Hard to believe a straight flush only paid out 50x, I was betting low, but still. Never had one in real cards.

I've had the same suggestions from others but being a bit paranoid, I just fear that I'd get in some list that would make my life miserable
