If I remember correctly I picked this up in 2011.
Dont remember how much I gave for it.
I have never shot it, just kept it in the box in one of my safes.
.
I have this Russian Mosin Nagant 91-30 1943
Was wondering the value of it.
Has the cleaning kit, ammo pouches, bayonet, sling.
Rifling is sharp.
Has been recrowned (Rolled Crowned)
Any help would be appreciated.

Better pictures would help and a shot of the makers mark. Is the crown in good shape, rifling, matching numbers, original stock (pre-war) stuff like that. Is it an izzy or tula?
Love them mosins.

From what I can tell, it looks like a wartime stock and a handguard with brass endcaps. With the rifle being a '43 it most likely won't be a desireable piece in the respect of collectibility. Even if it was the more scarce '43 Tula, they are only a 2 out of 10 on the rarity chart.

Even if the rifle does not have any desireable traits or markings I would imagine that it should likely fetch $275'ish in today's market given the included box and accessories. I stopped collecting MN's several years back so I'm not 100% current on prices nowadays. If you don't have to part with the rifle, just stick it back in the safe and see if she'll bring Russian SKS prices in a few more years. ;)

Upper end 275. I think Cool is pretty on mark.
