Fixed the loose rail issue and took the creedmoor, with the NEW magpul bipod. Better chance to give an honest opinion. This is not to urge or promote anything. I'm not qualified for that.
Anyway, It's solid. Well built and no cheap parts. Extended legs are solid as well. Shot in both positions and I'm thrilled about how well its made.
Lock retention screw is large, metal and does as good as you could imagine and hope for.
No twist, binding or turning of the legs and pads. Recoil is perfect when loading the pod and shot. Going to get a couple more for my AK and AR.
Lock buttons when down and lock (inset buttons) for extension.
Got very gusty winds when I took her out but I'm very satisfied by the results.
Zero at 200 yds using Hornady black box 140 grain. First 3 shots are low left. I was jacking with the dope before I discovered the rail was loose so had to re zero. Once I got on x I put 3 sub moa. Then I just put a box and a half through the other target. Had a few fliers caused by me an trigger pull but I'll take it all.
I like this pod. That is all. Here's a couple of pics.
