That's it!! Thanks for solving my problem! I'll put duck tape on the fuel filler neck of the old Ford tractor! I wanted a bullet tray and thought the tractor could live without this fuel cap for a day or two.

Don’t anybody bad mouth duct tape!

It got me through a day of brush hogging. The tapered pin that keeps the yoke on the PTO broke below the surface of the yoke. Got in position and had to tape a rock on top of it to prevent it backing out. Yeah duct tape rocks.

Lol, I agree.

I use it to secure chain/hook connections when winching/pulling critical stuff these days. Keeps glitches/slack from dislodging the hook.

Had a rather scary experience trying to jerk down a tree with my pickup once when the chain (connected to a 20-30 ft cable) came unhooked...

The handiest thing I ever used duct tape for: wrapping it around some ammo that was too small for the barrel. Yep...we bought lemons instead of taters cuz lemons was cheaper. Bought too small of lemons.

My self as well. I either put a tire or two on the chain or drape a tarp over it. I lost a back glass once and seen worse with others.

Almost exactly my experience. There are chain tracks across my cab just above the back glass, but it still wrapped around and took out the passenger-side mirror.

I had the cable attached to the pickup, and the chain attached from it to the tree. Was looking through the back glass, and can still see that chain flying toward me when it came loose...
