I have been there a lot and have only had one issue and when I pointed out the safety issue the people said thank you and corrected the issue!

I don't know how it is since they cleaned up the range, but that place used to have a reputation as a bad place to go alone. The people I knew who went there said they'd never go alone, as there were often, umm, unsavory (and, frequently, unsafe) people there.

I can't say from experience, though, as I don't have a hunting license.
Your exactly right. A 80 something WWII vet was beaten and had his guns stolen including an M1 Garand.
Gun enthusiasts from several Oklahoma Forums put on some charity matches and raised the funds to replace his M1 Garand. It was presented back to him in a ceremony without his prior knowledge.

That was not Lexington. Wagoner gun range is where the 73 year old was shot and robbed.
