Open carry and setting example!!

So leaving a local grocer I watched a man with his family cross the street in front of several people in their vehicles. One of these people said something or honked at the guy open carrying which caused him to flip the person in the car off!!
And instantly thought, Great another 2nd amendment guy setting a bad example.

Nothing else happened, but I feel maybe as a fellow 2A guy maybe I should have pointed out his error, but then again it is just my opinion and I do not know this guy or his level of maturity.

What do you folks think.

Open carry is dumb. It's usually the moronic who do it just to give themselves the perception of having balls.

For years I didn't carry except under certain circumstances. I knew my own temper, and was far too volatile to carry regularly.

If one is going to open carry, one really needs to be the most level headed person in the room.

Because some folks just gotta poke the bear.

Never return anger with anger, someone will get hurt especially if one of those in game has a sidearm. Even unarmed it's best to walk on and ignore the other person who is antagonizing. It's just not worth it!

When done with courtesy and kindness, it serves to remind the masses that those of us with means of defence aren't evil, and and can be quite friendly.

I don't practice it daily, but it's nice to shake hands with somebody who doesn't know that we mean no harm. And I do actually shake hands when the opportunity presents.

One of my good friends flips me the bird pretty often as a greeting. I do the same.

Nah live and let live, the law of poetic justice will come into play by the way of karma one day. If that is his daily example for the family, eventually it will come back to bite him.
