So 19 chickens later I found my predator and terminated him with extreme prejudice.

Question? He is in the freezer now and I'm thinking about getting him stuffed or skinned. Will I have to get a tag since he was killing my livestock?

Yes, you will have to get a tag from a warden. I'm not sure they'll issue one though, being out of season. Not sure how they handle it when it was attacking livestock.

This what I found out before I went on the hunt for my chicken killer. Didn't know it was a bobcat until I saw him.

Exemptions from Regulations
Any bobcat, coyote or fox that is found to be destroying livestock or poultry is exempt from regulations.

Interesting find. I don't believe a taxidermist will take it without a tag.
