The fact that this is even a topic is just a tad bit concerning.

It just goes to show that the average common folk know nothing about guns anymore. People don’t die when ammo goes off outside of a barrel and breech. SMH

Unless they're unknown reloads or have been in a flood or some similar catastrophe... I wouldn't worry as long as the cases show no corrosion or physical damage.

I dare say most rounds will outlive their owners by far.

That's not exactly the story they told us.
The story went more like ; We have a hundred sorters at the recycle center and a lot are felons we don't want getting ahold of guns and ammo.
