I assume TCSO is Tulsa County? I am not too familiar with the politics up there but I do know that it is the "liberal central" area of the state..does that go for the sheriff as well? If so, I would guess that he sits on it as long as he statutorily can. We had similar issues in Georgia...some of the liberal probate judges (they were the authority to issue the license) would wait up until the last minute (or past the limit until they got sued) to issue.

Yeah, its a bit more liberal up here than in OKC area. I know it took a friend of mine 6 weeks to get his after his initial application. Its only been three weeks for me so far.

That’s great! Why did my renewal take two months? New applications get priority since I already had mine so it didn’t affect anyone maybe? Glad to hear they are doing a good job.

After reading quite a few of these posts I'm not sure if there is a rhyme or reason in the turn around times. :anyone:

I really think that is depends on the local Sheriff's Office. There are people in here who submitted their application after me who have theirs already and I'm still twiddling my thumbs (well and looking at which carry holster I want now).

Mailed my renewal in from my mailbox on Nov. the 6th. Recieved my new license in my mailbox today Nov. the 27th. Not a bad turnaround. 21 days.

Maybe because you are a fine upstanding citizen who is held in high regard by your fellow man and a credit to the human race? Nahhhhh. Probably just blind luck.

:comfort:

Submitted my renewal online 11.01.18 and I'm waiting to receive my new license.

For those in the know, my license expired in October, but with the 90 day grace period, does that mean I can continue carrying through those 90 days (assuming I'm still waiting for my license)??
