If you want to talk about equality, how about equal sentencing for offenses. There have been recent cases of teacher/student relationships going to court. The female teachers get a slap on the wrist compared to the male teachers having relationships with female students. There is inequality everywhere, mostly in favor of the females, so let's not start complaining about "inequality". Females have created this issue with their false claims everywhere. Men are guilty until proven innocent in this world when it comes to the majority of issues/crimes.
Let's say that a man sexually assaults a women. If proven guilty he gets a 20 year sentence. Now, let's say the same woman fabricates the charges and the man did absolutely nothing to her but she wants to make his life hell for whatever reason. She gets NOTHING!! If a female makes up a claim of any sort that comes with a prison/jail sentence, she should be held to the same sentencing terms as the man.
Now let's talk about equal pay for the same work. This entire idea is one big facepalm. If females were paid less for the same job/work, how are men getting hired over women at all? This is a completely empty idea. Most companies when hiring people of both sexes, have a pay grade or a posted pay rate for the position being offered. Let's take into consideration negotiation. Most men are far better at it than women, therefore men get the higher pay rate. Second, these arguments don't take into account women being off for maternity leave and other things women take off work for. The "equal pay" argument is a complete farce.
If we are talking about the military and/or police, fire, ems, etc.. jobs, then there should be exactly the same requirements for men and women. If a woman passes the tests then I have no problem at all with them doing said jobs. But the fact that they reduce the requirements for women is ridiculous. If you want to talk about "equality", I'm sure there are a handful of places where it does happen, but the information that most people put out as arguments, is just as ridiculous.
When it comes to being around women in the workplace, I for one stand by the current opinion about staying away from them and not giving them the opportunity to make false claims about anything. Has the BS on this front gotten insanely out of hand? YES!! Who do you think caused it? And when you come up with that answer, then ask yourself WHY they caused it.
Let me give you a little something else to chew on. Men and women are NOT equal. Their bodies are different and their minds work differently. It's FACT!! And women who complain about inequality are simply weak in every way and completely insecure, probably because they had crap-ass parents.

I supervise two young women. I leave the office door open (well, it's open all the time now that I think about it) but I do try to be careful not to be in a situation where we're alone together. Sure, I don't want any false accusations against me but it's just as much for their benefit as it is mine. We have to trust each other to back each other up and I want to create an atmosphere where they trust me as much as I do them and not be concerned with things like harassment, rumors, etc. so they can put their full attention on the job at hand. I replaced the last supervisor because he couldn't keep his $&%^ in his pants. And yes, I pay them all equally except for one guy who's been here even longer than I have and his seniority means he's just gotten more raises over the years but the standards are the same for everyone. The biggest guy on my team wants everyone to know he's an "alpha" but his insecurity is obvious. He's still good at his job, he's just young and lacks experience.

As for the topic, my trigger point is my family and friends who are considered family. You come in trying to throw your weight around, you better make damn sure you're in the right or you'll have the full weight of the sanjuro clan bearing down on you. Believe me, the women are just as hostile as the men in those situations and I'm pretty sure several of them have a string of scalps to prove it...

Here, but occasionally There.
I’m all for wage equality, same production/same pay but here is a example from the Army, it’s ******** but it is what it is. The requirements need to be the same for men and women and you can do it or you can’t.

“For the current Army Physical Fitness Test, male soldiers between 17 and 21 years old must complete 71 pushups within two minutes, run two miles in 13 minutes, and complete 78 situps to get perfect scores. Female soldiers in the same age range must do 42 pushups, complete the two-mile run in 15 minutes and 36 seconds, and also do 78 sit ups to get full credit on each event”

WOW!!!! Back in 1966, when I joined the Army, at Basic Training our standards were 21 pushups, 60 sit-ups, but no running at all. Now, in all honesty, I went through Basic with only about 3 or 4 of us begin "regular army, or RA" with all the rest being National Guard and Reserve. Maybe they had lower standards for the NG's and ER's.

Funny thing was that when I joined we were told that we would be in better shape and lose weight by the end of Basic. Only problem was that just before going into the Army, I was bucking bales on the farm. In my case, I digressed in physical ability and gained 10 pounds. (The 10 pounds was probably because of the "regular meals.")

Interesting. When I worked at H&H I also had an open door policy to the closet that was my "office". I was the only woman supervisor on the range side at the time. I heard, more than once, that because I insisted on the door being open when I was in the office with a man I supervised, or one from other departments that I knew resented me being there (and their were plenty) I must be "one of THOSE women". After the previous 20 some-odd years working with lawyers I was tremendously amused at the guys who resented me because I didn't ask anything from the guys I supervised that I wouldn't, and actually did do, myself. Well, except for deal with certain family members of the owners. When it came to dealing with those people it was every man for himself -- and the guys knew that. In fact, it was a running joke with the guys who respected me as much as I respected them! Lol

You should've said "okay, let's shut the door" and get in the guy's personal space every time they're in there. See if they changed their tune. One of the best bosses I ever had that taught me how to manage a department was a little 5'6" woman. Anybody who didn't respect her didn't do it for long, lol. You remind me of her.
