Tell me more about the spring kit. Who makes it and where did you order from?
I’m hoping mine will be here today. I’ve got a vortex crossfire sitting here for it.
Can’t wait to get it out. A decent quality center fire rifle with threaded barrel in the 200 range, tough to beat

I ordered one from Kentucky Gun Co right after Christmas last year. It was a steal with the Vortex scope. I plan on using it to hunt so am not too worried about velocity or shooting out to 1000+ with it. I have an AR-10 I rebarreled to Creed for that.

Added a spring kit to it and the trigger is really nice. Sighted in with 140 Hornady Black from Academy and it shoots a ragged hole at 100. I'm def satisfied for the price, which was under $300.

Been reading up on some other forums. The original trigger design was recalled. Then, the next trigger in them was not adjustable below around 5 pounds. It seems that the issue has been resolved. The latest triggers are getting down to 3.5 ponds or so.
I’ll try the cheap spring fix if I’m not happy with it.
This guy has a target and a hunter spring with purchase and shipping in the $10 range

@swampratt I picked up a neat little 6.5 CM two days ago with a 22" barrel. I will be in Yukon week after next and would be more than happy to drop it off with you so you can play with it and get all the data you wish. Legit offer, it is just a rifle and you are a stand up guy.
