Per Silencer Shop, no transfer fee when bought from them. Per contract, the dealers cannot charge a fee.

I just left Silencer Shop in Austin. The obsidian9 is pretty impressive also. And it will use the Omega 9 mounts. Not 300blk Super rated like the Omega and Wolf. Both the Wolf and Obsidian are modular.

Isn’t the transfer from dealer to dealer on a Form-3 and free? The fee would be when it was transferred to you on Form-4.

Correct, no fee to the ATF is required.

The contract between Silencer Shop and the dealers do no allow them to charge transfer fee to end buyer on items bought from Silencer Shop.

Of course this is different from ATF form 4 transfer tax stamp. I’ve seen FFLs charge $50-$100+ for NFA items.
