Lots of old abandoned homesteads around if one can get permission to metal hunt them.
When I lived in town 30+ years ago we had folks come by a couple of times asking to search the yard. We always let them.
That could be a fun hobby.

I used to years ago. Relic hunting many, many days mostly mixed in with the occasional coin shooting. I wish I still had my health today. The advancements made today are very promising.
