Dry firing my sig good idea bad idea?

I went from a Glock 19 to A sig P229 40 S&W so am trying to get used to the double single action trigger so I just don't know it's drying firing practice would help? And if I should do that with a sig

Yes, dry firing practice will help and you're not going to hurt that Sig.
