Is there text of the actual bill available. The one that was vetoed last time did NOT meet my definition of Constitutional Carry.

Exactly, and if I remember right, she actually let the legislature go home and waited to veto the bill, thus the session was ended and it couldn't be overridden without recalling the legislature for an emergency session - something she would have had to do.

Just one more "F you" to the people of Oklahoma by Mary Fallin, showing us how our "betters" rule.
Mary was influenced by a lobby organization in Ok that wants everyone to have "training" in their or other facility's before being able to carry Constitutionally.
We have two board members of that lobby group in our local gun club. I was told at a recent meeting that the feedback was so negative that they will not take a stance on the new bill and remain neutral.

Section 5 says you have to notify the police you have a loaded gun “when asked to do so.” This seems like a bad idea to wait until you’re asked if you have a loaded firearm in the car. Currently you’re supposed to identify you are legally allowed to carry and are doing so at first contact with law enforcement, correct? Maybe the actual bill clarifies this better. I only read the summary posted above.

I agree. Even if the law changed to where no notification was required at all, I would still voluntarily notify upon contact. I don't want myself or my dog shot because it was inadvertently discovered after contact was made. :(

I think that is very prudent these days...cops are on edge...rightfully so. I haven't been pulled over in a number of years but I was a couple times in TX (also a must inform state) and never had any issues when I told them right out of the gate that I was carrying.
